Rod and Debbie Jones have, since the early 1990's, been working full-time in Emmanuele Church, Bacoli... where Rod is an Elder. They are primarily involved in teaching and pastoral work, with Debbie specifically working amongst women. Rod is also involved in co-ordinating evangelistic outreach in a number of neighbouring areas.
Rod's work is not just confined to the church in Bacoli but he is also involved in training other church leaders and is part of FEMI which supports evangelical missionaries throughout Italy.
The July 2007 issue of "Echoes of Service" Magazine ran an article entitled "What I Do In Italy" - all about Rod and Debbie's work.
Abigail Ministries is a Christian Charity which provides Hope and Comfort to destitute families living in Kenya. It was started a number of years ago by two of our members, Roger & Shena Smith. The work of Abigail Ministries continues to grow, as does its impact on the lives of many living in poverty in Kenya.
We as a church are pleased to stand with Roger and Shena in this tremendously worthwhile venture.
